Albert B. Dankel, 89, of 615 Sycamore Circle, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1993, in his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1903 in Tilsit, Mo., son of Charles and Sophie Wolpers Dankel. Albert B. Dankel, 89, of 615 Sycamore Circle, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1993, in his home.

He was born Dec. 27, 1903 in Tilsit, Mo., son of Charles and Sophie Wolpers Dankel.

He married Irma Umbeck Sept. 20, 1928 in Cape Girardeau.

Dankel was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau.

He once worked at the International Shoe Company. He then worked for more than 40 years with Sunny Hill Dairy in Cape Girardeau. For Sunny Hill Dairy, he was a route salesman, he later managed the milk bar and then returned and retired as a route salesman.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marilyn Garner of Cape Girardeau, Judith Breckinridge of Tulsa, Olka.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. James Caughlan and the Rev. Ernest Jordan officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
