BUDA, Texas -- Albert A. Thompson died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995, at Hillside Manor in Buda.
He was born Nov. 24, 1905, at Pocahontas, son of Otis and Bertha Reck Thompson.
On Oct. 25, 1930, he married Rudell Bone, who died March 26, 1969. He married Edna Holbrook Feb. 14, 1970. She survives.
He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and taught at Anniston and at Chaffee, where he was high school principal until 1942. He moved to Atlanta, Ga., where he was comptroller for McDougal-Warren Construction Co. until his retirement in 1970. He later moved to Buda.
Other survivors include a daughter, Judith T. Frank of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Mary Jane Cracraft of Jackson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A granddaughter preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
