Lloyd "Alan" Welch of Jackson entered into eternal rest Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his home at the age of 58.
He was born Sept. 30, 1962, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to the late Wendell and Delores "Joan" Likens Welch.
Alan was a wonderful father and husband. He was of strong faith, loved to preach and teach and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He will be remembered as being a very generous person who loved helping others and was a fixer of everything. He was very social and outgoing and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Alan is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deanna (Morse) Welch; children, Tameeka (Steven) Williams and Jessica (Carlin) McCrary, both of Jackson, and Christopher Welch of Newport Richey, Florida; grandson, Abel Williams; siblings, David (Vickie) Welch of Conway, Arkansas, Teresa Dame of Festus, Missouri, and Bill (Theresa) Welch of Camdenton, Missouri; mother- and father-in-law, Mike and Donna Alberson of Cape Girardeau; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gerald Dame.
A memorial service will be held via Zoom at 2 p.m. June 26. ID number is 8445421645, and password is "paradise."
