CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Alan "Mouse" Austin, 60, son of the late Brenda Austin, was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life Monday, March 14, 2022, at his home in Chaffee. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Alan "Mouse" Austin, 60, son of the late Brenda Austin, was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life Monday, March 14, 2022, at his home in Chaffee.

He was a previous employee at Havco Wood Products in Scott City and was a life-long resident of Chaffee. Mouse enjoyed working on automobiles in the shop and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include a daughter, Brandi Robbins of Jackson; two brothers, Rodney and Anthony Austin, both of Chaffee; grandson, Brooks Robbins of Jackson; two uncles, Kenny and Lanny Austin; and by an aunt, Sandy Dunning.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
