Agnes Wipfler

ORAN, Mo. -- Agnes Wipfler, 94, of Oran died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Oran, to the late John Henry and Flora Bertha Kohm Wipfler.

Wipfler was a machine operator at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, St. Ann Sodality and Oran Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two nephews, Charles Wipfler of Scott City, Herman Wipfler of Saunemin, Ill.; a niece, Joan Phillips of Jackson; several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:40 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The rosary will be at 9.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.

Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
