LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Agnes Alida Trankle, 75, of Leopold died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
She was born on June 11, 1926, at Laflin, Mo., daughter of Fred William and Louise Ann Anger Elfrink.
She and Fred William Trankle were married Feb. 23, 1952, at Leopold. He died Aug. 20, 2000.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Leopold.
Survivors include thre sons, Robert Trankle of Chaffee, and David and Michael Trankle of Leopold; six daughters, Willie Saputo and Mary Vander Mierden both of Leopold, Rose Anne Trankle and Therese Kiger of St. Louis, Norma Trankle of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Christina Berger of Carbondale, Ill.; a brother, Justin Elfrink of Jackson; two sisters, Loretta Elfrink of St. Louis and Therese Elfrink of Leopold; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
