Agnes R. Sides, 65, of Jackson passed away Thursday, April 18, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 26, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to Cecil and Lydia Welker Fox. She and Earl L. Sides were married May 13, 1967.
Agnes attended school in Jackson and Cape Girardeau. She worked at the former Ralph Edwards Sportswear in Cape Girardeau and was third shift supervisor at LeeRowan in Jackson.
Loving survivors include her husband; a sister, Dorothy (Guy) Seabaugh of Jackson; a half brother, David Gale (Annie) Fox of Bonaire, Ga.; three grandchildren, Elmer (Kristy) Sides and children Peryann, Dylan, Marissa, Mariah and Alee of Jackson, Leon (Amanda) Sides and children Teddy and Blake of Cape Girardeau, and Sarah (Matt) Zehner and daughter Jada of Butler, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two children, David Sides and Nancy Sides; a grandson, Daniel Ing; and two sisters, Alice Hahs and Shirley Slinkard.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
