CHAFFEE -- Agnes J. Ourth, 88, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 12, 1909, near Chaffee, daughter of Leo and Theresia Dumey Seyer. She and Henry J. Ourth were married Aug. 23, 1927. He died March 28, 1984.
Ourth had been a sewing machine operator at Jay Allan Ward Baby Shoe Co. and at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, and VFW Auxiliary 3127.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Ourth of St. Louis, James Ourth of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Mary DeGarcia of Bridgeton; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
