Agnes M. Minor, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born July 11, 1920, in Du Quoin, Ill., to Louis and Nina Ireland Westerwelle. She and Edward Minor were married Aug. 17, 1940, in Greenville, Mo. He preceded her in death July 6, 2007.
Agnes loved crafting, crocheting, motorcycling and fishing. She and her husband ran the Viaduct Court for 10 years.
Survivors include a son, Sonny (Barb) Minor of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Nick Minor, Michele (Danny) Tumbleson and Tina Minor; four great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; a brother, Richard Westerwelle of Springville, Utah; three sisters, Freida Clark of Fredericktown, Mo., Margie Hill of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., and Frances Johnston of Provo, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from noon until service time today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral
Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be given to the local food pantry of one's choice.
