Agnes Hixson

BENTON, Mo. -- Agnes M. "Tootie" Hixson, 72, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Northwest Ohio Hospice Inpatient Unit in Perrysburg, Ohio.

She was employed more than 27 years with the Andersons, working in the accounts payable division until retiring in 1999.

Agnes is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Clinton) Kimbrell of Pickton, Texas; sons Paul D. Hixson Jr. of Tamarac, Fla., James D. Hixson of Deerfield, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Hixson Sr. in 1972; parents, Edward and Emma Schwartz; sisters, Mary Bain and Clare Fish; and brothers, George, Francis and Herman Schwartz.

Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Toledo.

Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements.
