CHAFFEE -- Agnes Elizabeth Sowers, 82, of Chaffee, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 1991, at her home.
She was born March 17, 1909 in New Hamburg, daughter of Michael and Mary Bucher Dirnberger.
She was a machine operator for Detroit Plastic Co.
She married Cecil Lindsey Sowers on Dec. 29, 1936. He died on May 13, 1984.
She had previously lived in Detroit, before moving to Chaffee in 1984.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Surviving is one sister, Alma Heisserer of Oran.
Three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, where parish prayers will be held at 7:30 tonight.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
