Agnes Dobbs

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Agnes Z. Dobbs, 99, of Chaffee died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at her home.

She was born Dec. 25, 1907, at Puxico, Mo., daughter of Henry Warren and Cora Lee Hodge Shrum. She and John F. Dobbs were married March 23, 1935. He died Feb. 8, 1982.

Dobbs had been a seamstress at Buckstein's Pants Factory and a floorlady at Baby Shoe Factory. She was a member of First Christian Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include two daughters, Joy Hooker of Chaffee, LaDonne Reeve of Nixa, Mo.; a sister, Alene Maxwell of Chaffee; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
