JONESBORO, Ill. -- Agnes E. Butler, 92, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at her home near Jonesboro.
She was born Oct. 21, 1909, in Pomona, Ill., daughter of Henry and Hattie Runion Lipe.
She married Floyd Butler on June 7, 1941, in Cape Girardeau. He died March 7, 1992.
She was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include a son, Arvel Milton of Jonesboro; three daughters, Sharon Murley and Jeraldine Sauerbrunn, both of Jonesboro, and Shirley Hill of Carterville, Ill.; a sister, Francis Hornbeak of Carrier Mills, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy Hill officiating. Burial will be Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.
