BLOOMFIELD -- Agnes B. Poe, 79, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, April 30, 1992, at Dexter Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1912, near Bloomfield, daughter of James L. and Ader Gibson Hankins. BLOOMFIELD -- Agnes B. Poe, 79, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, April 30, 1992, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 24, 1912, near Bloomfield, daughter of James L. and Ader Gibson Hankins. She married Roy Poe Dec. 24, 1932.

Poe was retired from Elder Manufacturing Co., and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and West Antioch Extension Club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, the Rev. James Poe of Farmer City, Ill.; two daughters, Carolyn Bell of Sikeston, Brenda Horner of Arnold; three brothers, Richard Hankins of ST. Louis, Edward Hankins of Brownsville, Texas, Charles Hankins of Escondido, Calif.; two sisters, Geneva Hart of Silver Lake, Wash., Betty Hough of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and four brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold Ferrell will officiate, with burial in West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near here.
