ADVANCE -- Agnes Almeta Jackson, 92, of Advance, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 6, 1901, at Leora, daughter of William and Jenny Rue Proffer. She married Thomas Jefferson Jackson, who died March 21, 1961.

Jackson was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Warren Jackson of Battle Creek, Mich.; two daughters, Margie Highlen of Highland, Mich., Dorothy Manning of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry Underwood will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
