ANNA, Ill. -- Afton M. Garrott, 77, of Anna, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992, at Union County Hospital. She was born June 16, 1914, in Balcom, daughter of Homer and Fanny Viola Davis Garrott. Garrott was retired as office manager at Anna Quarries Inc. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church, and Daniel Chapman Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution...

ANNA, Ill. -- Afton M. Garrott, 77, of Anna, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992, at Union County Hospital.

She was born June 16, 1914, in Balcom, daughter of Homer and Fanny Viola Davis Garrott.

Garrott was retired as office manager at Anna Quarries Inc. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church, and Daniel Chapman Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include cousins, Jeff Garrott and Edna Fulk of Anna, Iris Hight of Millstadt, and Jess Jean of Northbrook.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Tom Gagain will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
