UNIONTOWN -- Adolph "Blue Bird" Tanz, 75, of Uniontown, died Monday, Oct. 21, 1991, at his home.
He was a retired truck driver for Farmer's Limestone. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of VFW 4282 of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Josephine Kasten Tanz, and a sister.
Survivors include two sisters, Bernice Dahmus, Granite City, Ill., Sarah Heuschober, Cape Girardeau; two nieces, Diane Caldwell and Susan Miles of Granite City, and a friend, Esther Clements.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, with burial in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 a.m. today.
