ANNA, Ill. -- Adolph L. Koelling, 86, of Anna died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996, at the Illinois Veterans Home.
He was born June 20, 1910, in Washington County, Ill., the son of Fred and Margaret Ann Weihi Koelling. He married Madeline Cotter on May 18, 1946, in Anna.
Koelling was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna. He was a veteran of World War II and a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a mechanic, retired from Anna State Hospital and South Pass Products.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Joan Dallas of Jonesboro and Jean Wise of Marion; one sister, Linda Fark of Perry, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the church with the Rev. David Kollmeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Anna Cemetery with full military honors by Anna VFW Post 3455.
