Adolph A. Fee, 76, of 431 E. Cape Rock Dr. died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 14, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Ira A. and Vada Gaines Fee. On June 5, 1942, he married Iva M. Schnurbusch, who survives of the home.
In 1946, he began working at Rueseler Motors, before going to work for Brennecke Chevrolet in Cape Girardeau. He retired as an automobile salesman in 1984. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, the Knights of Columbus Council #1111, the American Legion Post #158 in Jackson, and was a volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center. He also was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army.
Other survivors include four daughters, Nancy Cox of Little Rock, Ark., Marilyn Bell of Cape Girardeau, Pat Rigor of Chicago, Ill. and Sharon Larson of Austin, Texas; six brothers, Vernon, Milford, Lawrence and Donald Fee, all of Cape Girardeau, Albert Fee of Marble Hill, and Ronald Fee of Jefferson City; a sister, LaVern Griffaw of Cape Girardeau; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, where parish prayers will be at 7 and K.C. rosary will be at 7:30 tonight. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. Msr. Richard Rolwing will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
