MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Adele Elizabeth Vaughn, 94, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Elder Care of Marble Hill. She was born on July 12, 1906, at Woburn, Ill., the daughter of Dr. Samuel and Anna E. Hueter Vaughn. She was retired from the Olin Corp. ammunition assembly operation in Wood River, Ill. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wood River...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Adele Elizabeth Vaughn, 94, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.

She was born on July 12, 1906, at Woburn, Ill., the daughter of Dr. Samuel and Anna E. Hueter Vaughn.

She was retired from the Olin Corp. ammunition assembly operation in Wood River, Ill. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wood River.

Survivors include four nephews, Hobart Vaughn of Park Hills, Mo., William Vaughn of Columbia, Mo., Richard Vaughn of Kirkwood, Mo., and Charles Vaughn of Cape Girardeau; and five nieces, Anna Hannah of Loveland, Ohio, Barbara Gibbons of Ballwin, Mo., Diana Revelle of Columbia, Mo., Donna Watson of Carmel, Ind., and Neta Candela of Wood River.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at 1 p.m.. Thursday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Gary Whitehouse will officiate.

Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
