KELSO, Mo. -- Addie B. Pinkston, 80, of Kelso died at her home on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006. She was born April 2, 1925, in Illmo, the daughter of August and Mary Sarah Caldwell Eifert. She married James T. Pinkston on Nov. 9, 1946, at Cape Girardeau. He died May 25, 1989...

KELSO, Mo. -- Addie B. Pinkston, 80, of Kelso died at her home on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006.

She was born April 2, 1925, in Illmo, the daughter of August and Mary Sarah Caldwell Eifert. She married James T. Pinkston on Nov. 9, 1946, at Cape Girardeau. He died May 25, 1989.

Mrs. Pinkston had been a bookkeeper for Buckner and Ragsdale in Cape Girardeau, Darling and Co. in Sauget, Ill., and P and P Trucking in Benton, Mo. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church in Scott City and served as past Sunday school superintendent.

She is survived by her son, James A. Pinkston, and daughter-in-law Jill R. Pinkston of Benton, along with three grandchildren, Jennifer Katelyn, James Andrew and John August Pinkston. Many nieces and nephews will miss Aunt B.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Carol; her parents; and a brother, Ray A. "Buddy" Eifert.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the chapel. The Rev. Jim Woeltje will officiate. Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.

Pallbearers will be Pat O'Brien, Gary Springs, nephews Kim and Kris Eifert and grandsons Jamie and John Pinkston.
