COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral for Addie Johnson of Cobden will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Burial will be at noon in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston, Mo.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Johnson, 84, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born July 20, 1914, in Booneville, Miss., daughter of Francis and Ethel Lytle Barnes. She married Benonie D. Johnson, who preceded her in death.

Johnson resided at Annavista from 1973-98. She was a member of Women of the Moose and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Roy Johnson of Cobden; four daughters, Copper Welch of Moncks Corner, S.C., Zalora Price of Kuwait, Stormy Heath of Altamont, Fla., Frances Trout of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three sisters, Gertrude Cunningham of Cardwell, Mo., Zencie Rolo of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Drake of Farmington, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren.
