ADVANCE, Mo. -- Addie Jo Adams, 77, of Charleston, Mo., formerly of Advance, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at her home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1926, at Brownwood, Mo., daughter of Quincy "Kelso" and Sarah "Pearl" Davis Ashcraft. She and Clay Adams were married Dec. 29, 1944, at Jackson. He died Dec. 9, 1983.
Adams worked 30 years in the radiology department at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church, and attended Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.
Survivors include a son, Danny Adams of Charleston; a brother, Howard Ashcraft of Brownwood; a sister, Mary Kynion of Brownwood; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
