AdaLee Hasenkamp

BENTON, Mo. -- AdaLee Cecilia Hasenkamp, 80, of Benton died Friday, June 5, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 18, 1934, in New Hamburg, Missouri, daughter of Otto and Maime Westrich Scheeter. She and Clayton Edward Hasenkamp were married May 28, 1960.

AdaLee worked in the circulation department at the Standard Democrat newspaper. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton and its Ladies Sodality.

Loving survivors include her husband, Clayton; two daughters, Sandy Renee Hasenkamp and Stacy (Kevin) Marshall of Benton; two grandchildren, Harrison and Marie Marshall; a brother, Alvin Scheeter of Danville, Illinois; and two sisters, Arabella Stike of Cape Girardeau and Lois Eastwood of Chaffee, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at St. Denis Church. Parish rosary will be at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
