ADA RAGSDALE

MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral service for Ada Ragsdale of Millersville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Kelly Francis and Gene Francis will officiate, with burial in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m.

Ragsdale, 81, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 4, 1911, at Hagarville, Ark., daughter of Robert and Lula Johnson Hutchins. She and John A. Ragsdale were married Sept. 26, 1926. He died Jan. 1, 1983.

Ragsdale was a member of Scopus Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, John Ragsdale of Dover, Ark., Burl Ragsdale of Millersville, Ronald Ragsdale of Watervliet, Mich.; two daughters, Betty Oliver of Green River, Wyo., Shirley Crites of Marble Hill; a sister, Robbie Partain of Morley; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
