Ada Eulora Parnell, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Hamilton, Alabama, to Kenneth "Jack" and Reacie Godsey Enlow. She married Harlon Eugene Parnell on Sept. 4, 1948, and he preceded her in death Jan. 10, 2010.
She was a waitress at Sands Pancake House in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Donna) Parnell of Jackson and Charles Parnell of Marble Hill, Missouri; a daughter, Pam (Keith) Sander of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Derrick Sander, Jason (Silvia) Sander, Amie (Adam) Blanchard and Brandi Starzinger; five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Sarah and Rebecca Blanchard and Madison Sander; and a great-great-grandchild, Levi Adams.
Ada was also preceded in death by her parents; a stepmother who raised her, Gracie Godsey; four brothers, Kirby and Louis Enlow and Edsel and Calvin Cheatham; and a sister, Loretta Kitchen.
Services will be private with Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Missouri.
