Ada Marie James, 91, 900 Melody Lane, died Monday, May 30, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1903, at Patton, daughter of Thomas and Radie Killian Jones. She and John "Mon" James were married July 24, 1921. He died June 4, 1987...

Ada Marie James, 91, 900 Melody Lane, died Monday, May 30, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born May 10, 1903, at Patton, daughter of Thomas and Radie Killian Jones. She and John "Mon" James were married July 24, 1921. He died June 4, 1987.

Survivors include three daughters, Alta Heisserer of Kelso, Lorene Heaton and Dorothy Sanders of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Woodrow Jones of Gordonville; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jessie Long officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery.
