CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- Ada Emma Galbraith, 87, of Carterville, formerly of Anna, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center at Herrin, Ill.
She was born Sept. 15, 1917, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Dock and Lela Bullock Johnson. She and Marion "Frank" Galbraith were married in 1931. He died April 5, 1961. She and Ira "George" Galbraith were married Sept. 19, 1968. He died May 27, 1988.
Galbraith was a longtime member of the Anna First Church of the Nazerene.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Davis of Anna; a son, Gary Galbraith of Carterville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home of Anna.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ralph Brandon and Jimmy Galbraith officiating. Burial will be in Miner Cemetery at Royalton, Ill.
