SCOTT CITY -- Ada Elizabeth Drexler, 83, Scott City Route 1, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997, at her home.

She was born July 29, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert M. and Emma J. Farrow Hartle. She and Claude Emeral Drexler were married April 1, 1940, at Charleston.

Drexler was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
