Funeral Mass for Ada Lee Buchheit of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. The Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3838 will have a service at 6:30, parish prayers will be at 7, and the rosary will be recited at 7:30 by Knights of Columbus Council 1111.
Buchheit, 67, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at her home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1931, at Oran, daughter of Henry and Emma Klipfel Eftink. She and Henry Buchheit were married June 11, 1955, at Oran.
Buchheit had worked at Horton Sales, East Cape Girardeau Building Center, Purple Crackle, East Missouri Action Agency, and was a housekeeper at St. Mary's Cathedral 10 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Cathedral Ladies, and Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Cindy Lowes of Cape Girardeau, Ruby Buchheit of Leadwood, Tammy Lunsford of Sturdivant; a brother, James Eftink of Oran; a sister, Patricia Eftink of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
