SIKESTON -- Arley D. Denbow, 73, of Sikeston died Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1922, at Matthews, son of Charles E. and Elizabeth Sanders Denbow. He and Helen Stephens were married July 4, 1942, at Fredericktown. She preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1986. He then married Lorice Colvin on April 27, 1987, at Sikeston.
Denbow was a resident of New Madrid and Scott counties for most of his life. He was employed as a mechanic for the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department until his retirement. He also was a member of the North Acres General Baptist Church and the Sikeston Masonic Lodge No. 310 AF and AM.
Survivors include his wife of Sikeston; a stepson, Harold Eugene Kuykendall of Edwardsville, Ill.; two sisters, Pearl Hampton of Miner and Ruby Cook of Fredericktown; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gary Denbow and the Rev. Jimmy Trotter will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
