A champion bodybuilder, Aaron G. Faire passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 6, 1970, in Sikeston.
A graduate of Jackson High School, he was a competitive runner on the track team.
Faire was an Army veteran and served during Desert Storm. After his honorable discharge, he struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder, but went on to attain two degrees in accounting from Hillsborough University in Florida.
He was a charming, big-hearted man with an eye for beauty. He enjoyed working out at the gym and listening to Guns & Roses. His favorite movie was "Iron Man".
He leaves behind his loving mother, Donna Faire of Cape Girardeau; father, Glen Faire of Jackson; sister, Karen (Todd) Schneider of Jackson; two nephews, Michael Schneider and Steven Schneider; niece, Lauren Schneider; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Martin Lucas will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, followed by interment at Dogwood Cemetery.
