WHITEWATER -- Aaron F. Helderman, 73, of Whitewater, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 30, 1919, at Burfordville, son of Dennis and Zelma Helderman. He and Mildred Williams were married Nov. 8, 1946.
Helderman was a self-employed farmer and carpenter, retiring in 1980. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, J.D., Aaron Jr., John and Jeffery Helderman of Whitewater; four daughters, Joyce Helderman, JoAnn Nance and Mary Livingston of Whitewater, Janelle McCrite of Olive Branch, Ill.; a brother, Woodrow Helderman of Gravel Hill; three sisters, Aleta Hedge and Wanda McElreath of Burfordville, Virginia Askew of Chino, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Willis Smith will officiate, assisted by Wayne Johnson. Burial will be in Stroderville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
