BENTON, Mo. -- A rural Sikeston couple were in jail Thursday on multiple drug and counterfeiting charges.

Amy Croy, 29, and Gary Davis 35, are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and forgery, according to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.

Walter said officers responded Wednesday to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Route Z outside of Sikeston. Deputies Garrett Cook and Mike Little allegedly found Davis and Croy to be in possession of items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine along with evidence of recent methamphetamine cooking.
