Fruitland Livestock FRUITLAND, Mo. -- Fruitland Livestock Auction Tuesday receipts, 326; last week, 558; last year, 274. Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers 250-600 lbs sold 2.00- 3.00 higher, the heavier side of the offering sold steady. Slaughter cows sold steady, slaughter bulls scarce; Demand and supply light. Cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, feeders 83 percent. Steers made up approximately 53 percent of the offering and heifers 47 percent. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 29 percent.
Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1 300-375 lbs 116.00-124.00. Medium and large 1-2 350-400 lbs 104.00-108.00; 400-450 lbs 95.50-105.00; 500-550 lbs 89.50-95.00; 600-650 lbs 82.50-88.75; 700-750 lbs 76.00-85.00; 850-900 lbs 71.75-78.00. Medium and Large 2 450-475 lbs 90.00-92.00; 550-575 lbs 80.00-82.00.
