LETTERS: CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR PERSECUTED

To the editor:

Thank you so much for your very informative article on Dr. Terry Jones' church in Koln, Germany, and the persecution by the German government. This is a continuing fight not only in Germany, but throughout the world. Christians must be ever vigilant, or the same thing could happen in our country. For example, the ever-continuing legislation allowing more and more abortion. Dr. Jones is our son-in-law, and we are very aware of the battle he and our daughter and their church have had to contend with. Dr. Jones and our family firmly believe this battle had much to do with the premature heart attack and death of our daughter.

As we are firm believers in the Bible as a guide to a way of life, we would like to quote Isaiah 40:31. "Those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not be weary. They will walk and not be faint." Please continue to pray for Dr. Jones' church and all other Christian churches throughout the world.
