Woodland senior Garret Reynolds claimed the top spot at the SEMO Conference small school cross country meet on Tuesday at the Cape County Park with a time of 18 minutes, 35 seconds, powering the Cardinals to the top spot in the team standings.
Zalma's Alex Steinberg finished second in the boys race followed by Woodland's Landon Thomsen, Oak Ridge's Nathan Bolin and Woodland's Logan Thomsen. Oak Ridge took second in the team standings. Zalma was third, Saxony Lutheran was fourth and Greenville was fifth.
Woodland's Cheyenne Wells took the top spot in the girls race in a time of 23:51 followed by Greenville's Elizabeth Hefner and Oak Ridge teammates Maci Jo Schamburg and Jordan Layton.
Saxony Lutheran, which was led by the seventh-place finish of Grace Hanebrink, won the girls team title. Oak Ridge was second, followed by Woodland and Chaffee.

The Perryville boys soccer team concluded its regular season with a road victory.
The Pirates will enter the first round of Class 2 District 1 play on Saturday at St. Pius X in Festus, Missouri, as the No. 1 seed with a 23-1 record.
Matt Moran, Kyle Wood and Emilio Mattingly scored first-half goals against Farmington, while Luke Schlichting and Conner Stark added tallies in the second half.
Schlichting, Wood, Levi Lappe, Dylan Jannin and Eann Bergman had assists.
Luke Dobbelare made three saves in goal for the Pirates.
Perryville will face Fredericktown at 2 p.m. Saturday in district action.
Notre Dame scored both its goals in the first half as it held off Poplar Bluff for a win at home.
Chandler Dorris gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead on a pass from Blake Bauwens. Benjamin Parsons netted the second goal, with an assist from Michael Rosenquist.
Notre Dame improved to 18-3-2.
The Bulldogs will conclude their regular season Thursday when they visit Jackson for a makeup game at 5 p.m.
The Indians improved to 11-9-1 with a lopsided road win over the Crusaders.
Kyle Bryant, Josh Scholl and Preston Arnold each netted two goals. Scholl also was credited with four assists in the game.
Ryan Harvey, Caleb Wadley and Hunter Crowden had a goal apiece. Crowden, Aaron Bosage and Liam Gray each had an assist.
