The Cardinals jumped out to a 21-7 first-quarter lead and expanded the margin to a whopping 50-13 at halftime.

"We played well," said Woodland coach Daren Barnes, whose team raised its record to 9-6. "Our kids played very intense. We came out and dominated the game early."

Eric Barnes paced the Cardinals with 21 points. Josh Johnson had 18, James Sechrest 17 and David Hoffman 14.

Zalma, which fell to 1-10, got 11 points from Daniel Payne.
