A winter storm moved through the area Wednesday, forcing schedule and location changes for several high school basketball sectional games.

The boys Class 2 sectional between Scott County Central and Thayer was originally scheduled to be played Wednesday at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, but the game and location have been changed to 5:30 p.m. today at Liberty High School in Mountain View, Missouri, followed by the girls Class 2 sectional between Chaffee and Neelyville at 7:15 p.m.

Saxony Lutheran was originally set to face Twin Rivers in a girls Class 3 sectional on Wednesday, but the game will now be played 7:45 p.m. today at Dexter High School in Dexter, Missouri.

Southeast baseball

Southeast Missouri State's Ohio Valley Conference opener against Eastern Kentucky was also shuffled.

The series has been moved to Edwardsville, Illinois, on the campus of SIU Edwardsville, where first pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. Game 2 will take place 2 p.m. Sunday, and Game 3 will start 1 p.m. Monday.

The team's second annual First Pitch Dinner featuring Al Hrabosky is still scheduled for Saturday. Tickets are available for purchase by calling 573-651-2005.

Makeup games against St. Louis University and Arkansas State have also been determined.

The Redhawks will take on the host Billikens at 3 p.m. on March 10 and will face host Arkansas State at 4 p.m. on March 25.
