Chaffee will play at district foe Naylor today in a game originally scheduled for Sept. 12.

Notre Dame held off host Jackson as the Bulldogs posted their 21st victory of the season.

Beth Schnurbusch improved her personal record to 13-0 with a two-hitter. She struck out four and walked one.

The Bulldogs (21-2) had 13 hits, led by Paris Burger with three. Heather Menz, Erika Reinagel, Allison Peters and Cortney Ostendorf each added two hits.

Jodie Gipson had six kills, six aces and 13 assists for the Indians. Shay Priester had six kills and five blocks, while Lucy Hartmann added 15 digs.

Scott City 25 25 Oak Ridge 13 23

Scott City won its ninth match of the season by sweeping visiting Oak Ridge.

The Rams (9-4-1) were led by Kacie Ritter's seven kills. Lindsey Amick had seven assists, and Brittany Licare added six digs.

Advance knocked off visiting Central in straight games.

Angela Broshuis had 10 kills for the Hornets (6-5-1). Stephania Jordan and Autumn VanGennip both had six digs, and Alicia Reeves added 15 assists.

The Tigers (4-11-1) were led by Carissa Wheeler with five kills. Ashton Gerlach had nine digs and Kristin Shirrell added seven assists.

St. Vincent 25 25 Perryville 13 20

St. Vincent won the battle of Perryville in two games at home.

Lauren Schumer and Kelsey Kutz each had six kills for St. Vincent (16-7-2), while Brooke Hayden added five kills. Lisa Abbott had 14 digs, followed by Sara Moll with 11. Lacey Siegmund led in assists with 10, and Kelsey Cissell added nine.

Bell City 25 25 Dexter 23 13

Jenny Lathum had 14 blocks and six kills, and Rachel Spears added 12 blocks and four kills in the road win for the Cubs (15-3-1).

GIRLS TENNIS Central 9, Poplar Bluff 0

The Tigers remained unbeaten through 10 dual meets with a road victory. Central won five of the nine matches by shutout and lost a total of just six games.
