The Red Devils trailed 20-6 at halftime and the Bulldogs pulled away in the second half.

""We played a pretty good first half but in the second half it came apart on us," Chaffee coach Allan Horrell said.

Chaffee's only touchdown came in the first quarter on a 40-yard pass from Sam Burnett to James Reischman. Burnett completed eight of 14 passes for 97 yards. Reischman had three receptions for 76 yards.

Portageville piled up 345 total yards -- including 319 rushing -- while Chaffee had 144 yards, with just 47 on the ground.
