Henry Harris picked up a second All-American honor, and this time he was joined by another Southeast Missouri State football standout.

Harris, a senior tailback, and senior center Sean Middleton were named Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) All-Americans on Wednesday.

Harris made the second team while Middleton earned third-team honors.

Harris was named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-American team Tuesday. Only 26 FCS players were selected for that prestigious squad.

Harris, the Ohio Valley Conference's offensive player of the year, rushed for a single-season school record 1,735 yards and 18 touchdowns this year. His 19 total touchdowns also were a school record.

Harris rushed for more than 100 yards in 10 of Southeast's 12 games, including a FCS single-game high and school-record 293 yards against Southwest Baptist.

Middleton, a first-team all-OVC honoree like Harris, was part of an offensive line that led the nation in sacks allowed (0.50 per game). The Redhawks also led the OVC and ranked fourth nationally in rushing offense (265.1 yards per game).

Harris and Middleton helped the Redhawks post one of the best seasons in program history. Southeast (9-3) tied the school record for wins while capturing its first OVC title and earning its first playoff berth.

Six OVC players made the AP All-American squad, including two first-team selections: Jacksonville State senior offensive lineman Curt Porter and Tennessee State senior safety Eugene Clifford.

Murray State senior wide receiver Marcus Harris made the second team, while Eastern Kentucky senior defensive lineman Andrew Soucy received third-team honors.
