DUBLIN, Ohio -- Tiger Woods was nowhere to be found the last time Bob Tway won the Memorial Tournament. That appears to be the case this year, too.
On a day that produced low scoring and big mistakes, Tway played bogey-free in a round of 4-under 68 on Saturday and grabbed a one-stroke lead over Stewart Cink (69) going into the final round at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Tway, at 12-under 204, had the lead to himself when Cink missed a 3-foot putt on the last hole. Justin Leonard was another stroke back at 206 after an even-par 72.
Woods had an even-par 72 to finish at 216, a dozen strokes out of the lead in a tie for 56th with 62-year-old Jack Nicklaus.
CORNING CLASSIC: Laura Diaz shot a 3-under 69 to take the lead in the LPGA event, with Rosie Jones lurking one shot back in quest of her third victory in the tournament at Corning, N.Y.
Diaz, who has been atop the leaderboard after each round, was at 12-under 204. Her birdie on the par-5 12th was the difference between her and Jones, who had a 67.
FARMERS CHARITY CLASSIC: Dan O'Neill shot a 5-under 67, birdieing five of the final nine holes in rainy conditions, for a share of the second-round lead at Ada, Mich.
Australia's Rodger Davis also shot a 67 and Jay Sigel had a 69 to match O'Neill at 8-under 136 on the Egypt Valley course.
Volvo PGA Championship: Anders Hansen shot a 6-under-66 to take a five-stroke lead in the third round at Virginia Water, England.
Hansen' had a tournament-record 17-under 199 total.
