Tonight's basketball district tournament semis rescheduled

The semifinals of the Class 4 District 1 girls tournament at Central High School have been pushed back to Thursday due to icy road conditions.

The rescheduling of tonight's games means the championship game will be played Friday.

Top-seeded Dexter will face No. 4 Kennett in the first semifinal at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by No. 2 Notre Dame vs. No. 3 Sikeston at 7:30.

At this time, the boys semifinals still are scheduled for Tuesday. Top-seeded Sikeston will face No. 4 Kennett at 6 p.m. and No. 2 Notre Dame will play No. 3 Central at 7:30 p.m.
