ST. LOUIS -- The Cape Girardeau Central High boys tennis team remained undefeated in dual matches as the Tigers knocked off host Vianney 5-2 Monday afternoon.

Central, now 4-0, won three of the four singles matches and two of the three doubles contests.

In the junior varsity match, Central and Vianney tied 3-3.

FESTUS, Mo. -- Caitlin Hoeh scored both goals as St. Vincent improved to 4-2-1.

Becky Kirn, Beth Henemann, Whitney Guth and Amanda Carron received credit for assists while goalkeeper Mindy Cattoor recorded the shutout.

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Both goals came in the first half as Perryville and Poplar Bluff settled for a tie.

Perryville (5-1-1) fell behind 1-0 before Brittany Weibrecht scored, with an assist from Brooke Winkler.

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Jackson fell to 3-2 in dual meets by losing to Farmington.

Matt Litzelfelner paced the Indians with a score of 39. Also for Jackson, Peyton Sims shot 40, Rhett Butler 43 and Nathan Brown 44.
