Winless Costa Rica and Poland have been eliminated.

England advanced after late goals from Peter Crouch and Steven Gerrard secured a 2-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago in Group B.

In Thursday's last game, Sweden got an 89th-minute goal from Fredrik Ljungberg to beat Paraguay 1-0.
