Miles Smith was selected as the male track athlete of the week, Kris Woolf was named the female track athlete of the week and Heather Jenkins was tabbed the female field athlete of the week.
Smith remained undefeated in the outdoor 400-meters this season by winning the prestigious Sea Ray Relays at the University of Tennessee. Smith's time of 45.74 seconds is the second-fastest time in NCAA Division I this season.
Woolf placed fifth in the 10,000 meters at the Sea Ray Relays. Her time of 37:50.53 is the fastest in the OVC this season.
Jenkins placed fifth in the discus and 13th in the shot put at the Sea Ray Relays. Her throw of 166 feet in the discus is the best in the OVC this season.
Southeast will compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., on Friday and Saturday.
Southeast coach Joey Haines said Smith will be rested this week because of a slight leg injury, but the rest of both the men's and women's squads will compete at Vanderbilt.
