Shelby Kight and Matt Gooch had doubles for the Bobcats.

Central hammered 14 hits and cruised past visiting Malden in five innings.

Blake Smith went 3-for-4, while Hide Tanaka and Shawn Prince both added two hits.

Jamie Pickel notched the victory.

The Crusaders (19-3) pounded out 11 hits in a road victory.

Bret Steffens blasted a three-run homer to spark Saxony's offense. He had two hits, as did Spencer Sander.

Bryant Steffens earned the win on the mound.

Kyndel Page had two hits for the Hornets (7-10).

Scott City swept

Scott City dropped both ends of a doubleheader against perennial St. Louis power Vianney, 4-1 and 14-4.

Shae Simmons took the loss on the mound in the opener, while Skylar Cobb got the loss in the nightcap.

The Rams had just seven hits on the day.

Jackson 1, Carbondale 0

Kasey Crowden scored with five minutes left to lift the visiting Indians (16-3).

Bobbi Jo Schlick tallied the assist and Morgan Riddick earned the shutout in goal.

Notre Dame 8,Farmington 0

Taylor Sanders netted two goals and added an assist as the Bulldogs (14-3) romped at home.

Mindy Siebert, Alex Fowler, Lacy Boeller, Meghan Dohogne, Brianne Sanders and Anna Wren all added goals.

Siebert and Brianne Sanders had two assists apiece, while Courtney Luehmann, Wren and Dohogne each added one.

Brianna Ziegler recorded the shutout.
