Thomas, Elam help Oak Ridge to victory over Bell City

Brett Thomas scored 22 points and Caleb Elam added 20 to help the Oak Ridge boys basketball team knock off host Bell City on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays clamped down on defense in the third quarter as they emerged with the 71-59 win.

Oak Ridge went 20 of 26 (77 percent) from the free-throw line.

Skylor Blackler led the Cubs with 24 points.
