NASHVLLE, Tenn. -- Diane Seng scored 37 points as Tennessee Tech secured its second straight NCAA berth with an 89-80 victory over Austin Peay in final of the Ohio Valley Conference tournament.

Tech has won the OVC tournament a record nine times, including a record five straight from 1989-93.

Seng, who was 15-of-19 from the field, was selected the tournament MVP for the second consecutive year. She helped the top-seeded Golden Eaglettes (24-8) erase an early 10-point deficit to against the Lady Govs (15-15).

Brooke Armistead led Austin Peay with 22 points, and Paige Smith added 20.
